Tori Wells is the Founder, CCO of Feline Apparel, a Black woman–owned luxury athleisure brand founded in 2018. Built entirely from the ground up, Feline Apparel was created to redefine athleisure through inclusivity, confidence, and premium design—without compromise.
From the beginning, Tori designed Feline Apparel with size inclusivity at its core, offering thoughtfully crafted pieces in sizes 2XS–6XL. Her vision was clear: luxury athleisure should fit every woman and reflect real bodies, real movement, and real lifestyles.
Under her leadership, Feline Apparel has grown from an online-only brand into a community-driven platform that merges fashion, fitness, and empowerment. Tori continues to lead the brand’s creative direction and long-term growth strategy, including experiential retail expansion and empowerment initiatives under Project FAME (Feline Apparel Mentorship & Empowerment), positioning Feline Apparel as a purpose-driven brand built to scale nationally and globally.
Founder Manifesto
I built Feline Apparel from the ground up because I refused to wait for permission to exist in a space that was never made for women like me.
I am a Black woman, a visionary, a creator, and a disruptor in a category dominated by male-founded brands and narrow definitions of who belongs. I didn’t inherit a blueprint, a network, or a shortcut. I built this brand with intention, grit, and an unshakeable commitment to women who deserve to feel powerful in their bodies.
Feline Apparel is not just clothing. It’s a movement.
A movement for comfort, confidence, representation, and excellence.
A movement rooted in what I never saw growing up:
luxury athleisure that honors every woman — every curve, every size, every journey.
Every thread, every design, every campaign reflects my belief that women deserve spaces created by us, for us.
We deserve clothing that moves the way we live — boldly, beautifully, and without apology.
I created Feline Apparel to challenge the norms, redefine luxury athleisure, and open the doors that were kept shut for far too long.
Not just in fashion — but in leadership, representation, and ownership.
I built this brand without a man backing me, without generational capital, and without a seat already reserved at the table. I built it anyway — and I built it on values that can’t be bought:

Our Timeline
The Journey of Feline Apparel
2018 — The Beginning
Feline Apparel is founded by Tori Wells with a bold mission: to create luxury athleisure designed for all women—across sizes, backgrounds, and lifestyles—without sacrificing quality, style, or performance.
Building with Intention
Launched as an e-commerce–first brand, Feline Apparel prioritized size inclusivity (2XS–6XL), premium materials, and community-first storytelling. The brand challenged traditional athleisure standards by centering women who were historically overlooked.
Community Before Capital
As the brand grew, Feline Apparel expanded beyond apparel into community-building developing an athlete sponsorship program, empowerment-driven pop-ups and mentorship and workforce development through our Feline Apparel Internship Cohort c/o Project FAME.
Purpose Beyond Product
The launch of Project FAME (Feline Apparel Movement for Empowerment) solidified the brand’s commitment to development, education, and confidence-building through movement and leadership.
The Future — Experiential Retail & International Growth
Feline Apparel is now expanding into experiential retail, introducing immersive spaces where luxury athleisure, fitness, styling, and community programming live together—beginning with mall-based locations and scaling into flagship stores nationwide. Imagine a retail space where luxury athleisure shopping and in-store mini fitness classes work together symbiotically—each enhancing the other to create an immersive, community-driven experience. Customers can watch live classes, get styled in real time, and connect with ambassadors who understand both movement and fashion. This isn’t just shopping—it’s engagement, empowerment, and experience. Designed to be scalable, this model transforms retail into a lifestyle hub and sets the foundation for nationwide expansion.
