Overview:
The Assistant Store Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the success of Feline Apparel’s seasonal pop-up location. This position supports the Store Manager in delivering an elevated customer experience, achieving sales goals, and maintaining the brand’s visual and operational standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and can inspire a team to perform at their best.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a keyholder to open and close the store, ensuring all operational and security procedures are followed.
Lead, motivate, and manage the Personal Shopping Consultant team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Assist in scheduling team shifts to maintain optimal store coverage.
Conduct and lead team meetings to communicate sales goals, product knowledge, and updates.
Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand guidelines.
Drive sales by actively engaging customers, building relationships, and providing styling assistance.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise.
Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with operational policies.
Lift and move merchandise as needed (up to 30 lbs).
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older.
College Degree or equivalent a plus.
At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in a retail setting.
2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in apparel or luxury retail.
Merchandising experience is required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with opening and closing procedures.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the pop-up period.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
