Overview:

Feline Apparel is proud to present FIT Careers Incubator—an immersive, hands-on program designed to provide college students with valuable experience in fashion, sales, marketing, communications, and multimedia creation. Interns will work closely with the CEO, Tori Wells, develop key professional skills, and play an essential role in the growth of a luxury athleisure brand. Expect to roll up your sleeves and dive into meaningful work—this internship requires dedication, creativity, and a proactive approach. Interns will contribute to real projects and immerse themselves in the dynamic world of fashion.

The start date will approximately be in January 2025. All interns must attend an institution or be a recent graduate located within 50 miles of Nashville, TN. All interns are required to work in person twice a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Personal Shopping Consultants to enhance communication and refine sales strategies.

  • Support customer engagement during pop-up events and contribute to the shopping experience.

  • Assist in developing strategic marketing campaigns and refining sales program tactics.

  • Provide personalized styling assistance and drive sales as needed.

  • Plan and coordinate Feline Apparel’s college tour, including outreach and logistics.

  • Organize photo shoots and events, ensuring seamless execution.

  • Communicate with models and manage follow-ups for shoots.

  • Craft blog posts, press releases, and press kits to align with the brand’s voice and promote initiatives.

  • Manage and maintain a content calendar across all social media platforms.

  • Capture and share behind-the-scenes content to highlight the brand's journey.

  • Film, edit, and produce episodes for the brand’s podcast series.

  • Create engaging multimedia content, including photos, videos, and graphics, for social media and marketing.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Design, Business, or a related field.

  • 3.25 GPA or above preferred.

  • Proactive work style with the ability to work autonomously.

  • Enthusiasm for fashion and an interest in the luxury athleisure market.

  • Experience with Google Suite, Adobe, Canva, Trello and social media. (i.e., TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Strict and accurate adherence to company’s policies and systems.

  • Time management and prioritization skills.

  • Team player, able to take direction and run with it.

  • Able to demonstrate initiative and ownership.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong adaptability to situations and ever-changing demands.

  • A calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress.

  • Build excellent relationships with teams through positive communications.

  • Comfortable interacting with individuals of all levels and providing input and guidance as needed.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise up to 25 pounds.

  • Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including potentially inclement weather conditions.

  • Own a laptop.

  • Ability to travel domestically: If travel is required, interns will be responsible for arranging and covering their own travel arrangements.

Compensation:

This internship does not provide monetary compensation however, interns may receive comparable benefits such as mentorship, professional development opportunities, and valuable hands-on experience in their chosen field.
